FOUR EVENTS AT DR BHARATHI 50 CELEBRATIONS

It was a well organized decent and delectable evening that goes in the memory for a long time. Whether the Kannada cinema industry celebrate the long innings of stalwarts like Dr B Saroja Devi, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Dr Leelavathi, Dr Jayanthi, Dr Jayamala or not but individually celebrating the glorious 50 years in cinema Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana has set a trend.

From the regular stage programs Dr Bharathi showed her power of knowledge by conducting something useful to the industry.

On one dais four events were held at the 10th floor of Christ University in Bangalore on Thursday evening. ‘Short Film Workshop’ launch, ‘Bhava Theera Yaana’ a chat with Dr Bharathi by TS Nagabharana, Visual presentation of Dr Bharathi films and birthday celebration of Dr Bharathi were packed in two hours program that was beautifully conducted by anchor Aparna.

GS Bhasker heads the Short Film Course that is conducted by Vibha Charitable Trust in association with OSCARS and Pune Film Institute. The formal beginning of the Short film course begins from 16th of August.

The noted actress Sowcar Janaki of 83 years, Dr Jayanthi, KCN Chandrasekhar, SV Babu, Ramesh Bhat, B Vijayakumar and others were present.

Aniruth Jathakara and Keerthi Vardhana made precise arrangements.
